Got out today for a ride up the east shore of the Lower Arrow Lake. Cool weather, but the sun did manage to come out for most of the morning which warmed things up. Ran into about a foot of snow at 2500', and lots of new logging roads. Bastards built one logging road cris-crossing a really sweet old trail, but fortunately left about 80% of it still accessible.

First stop at Anderson Point, a well used place to launch the cartoppers.

Lots of sand to play on at Sunshine Bay, also a great camping spot up between the trees, room for half a dozen trucks.

A few different views along the way. This is a natural bridge across the lake, it looks manmade, but is not!

Nice pics as usual[8D] The natural bridge is pretty cool -- would be neat to see up close.

[15][15][15] I never even noticed that 'til you mentioned it! I think he was just opening the storage box! At least it wasn't my quad!:D

There is a walking trail up to the natural bridge but only accesible by boat, one day I hope to get up there before I'm old and crippled!:D

I'm beginning to think we're going to be in for one f'up of a summer. there really isn't a snow pack to speak of. we were up the nahatlatch valley on the weekend the ice was off the lake and the snow line was up high. When we were there some time around the second week of may a couple of years ago, we couldn't get into the camp for all the snow and the ice was just starting to come off. This could mean forest closures for fire hazzards and f'up fishing for lack of water.
