Go right ahead. :) I have no plans to sell or market bumpers or anything else anyways.

1.75" x .120 HREW.

The hardest part is finding a reasonable price for OD tubing here. Seems not too many local shops need or use it, so the prices are high. I was getting quotes of $6 a foot and higher...until my boss got involved and nested my order with a good sized order from work. Finally got the price down to $2.80/foot (on a 320 foot order).

I'm sorely tempted to buy a 1.5" pipe die for my JD2. The $350 for the die set would be recouped pretty quick in material savings. 1.5" mild steel pipe (not that black pipe crap) is still pretty common and cheap here.

The pipe would be perfect for bumpers, shock hoops, and other assorted tube projects (other than a cage)
