well my old bronco-2 is a 84 with a 302 auto c-4/5 with a rear 7.5" with 3.73 and track lock posi and dana 28 up front witch i spooled last summer.
also i was running 35x12.5x15 mud kings but she has lived a good life but is to rusty to fix so i think.
and now im starting over with a different 84 bronco-2 using some old stuff from my other truck such as body lift and winch and bumper tires and motor and tranny and maybe transfercase but im switching ttb to straight axle so more than likely dana 44hp front but im not sure on the rear dif either to use a 8.8 disc dif i have or a 9" drum dif .
and im thinking on using front coils and the rest of the mounting and stearing components out of a 78 bronco and the rear leafs aswell since i have heard of ppl using rear springs out of f-150s.

go 9" over a mustang 8.8. damn i wish my truck worked and id come and get the sway bars, but the thing died on me last week, and ive got no way to get out there to pick them up

edit: reason for the 9 over the mustang 8.8 is the 8.8 is the mustangs had 28 spline 8.8's and the 9" youve got is 31

still have to mount panard bar and switch all the bolts im using to grade 8 and fab bracket for p/b and switch the drag link and put in upper spring restraint then deal with what style brake line or lines since the 78 bronco has one line running to diff then splitting to two and the bronco 2 has a line on each side running to calipers any suggestions?

well i have been neglecting to keep up on my build but here we go ive cut and redone angle of pinion and welded pirtches on and have had rear drive shaft shortened and balanced thanks again to harleyfatboy(chris) for the shafts and to robo for taking time to get the work done for me since i dont have time during the week any more and also idaho for the hand in get pirtches and ang and messurements and ill have the front shaft cut and a regular yoke put on this week rather than the spicer or cv since i cant use it do to extension housing is the shorter one and it will hit the tranny and i picked up some 38x12.5x15 swampers today used of course to see how it feels first and now to get to all the littler thing like rad and rad support and power stearing pump and finish wireing the alt and ignition and tranny lines and cooler then to pull out standard pedel bracket and put in auto pedel bracket and finish hooling up 4x4 shifter linkage and cable tranny shifter and electric fuel pump and put gauges in and hippo liner the floor and put interior back together then stereo in and speakers then cut wheel well openings and buy or make some flares and after front shaft is in all that will be left is to make my exaust. oh ya dual of course and maybe my winch and front bummper and finish heater box and ill be needing gears and lockers but its getting closer to being ready and ill try and post some up dated pics soon.[cheers]

well its been a bit since ive updated so here it is ive hippo lines the floor put back seats back in almost finished the guages and finished the shifters and boots and changed the brake peddal assembely to auto and changed the stearing column and put new 5x7 jbl's in the back and wired the fuel pump into a relay and then found that the carb is spueing gas and needs rebuild but what would you expect for a holley that has been sitting for a while and i mount the old front drivers seat just so im not using a gas can or dairy land crate to sit on also put tranny cooler in and one side of the front springs retainer since i cant find the other one just yet since i moved so the list gets shorter and so is the time till its on a trail near you ![cheers]

finished the bracket and painted it and installed it using factory holes in the frame and welded some shock ounts on the diff and installed a pair of my old shocks for now and i noticed my front drive shaft was rubbing the exaust on the driver side mainly the wait but its circled in green and why do i need it balanced any way just nock the weight off and adjust the exaust a little since there is not much space to work with haveing 2" exaust[32]
