does anyone know if the 1 ton brake booster and master cylinder will be able to replace the half ton? i don't want to be breaking stuff left and right with the added power.

(btw, the mc and booster are on the cab so its all bolted in and pedal assembly hooked up, just need to hook up break lines) which is another thing, will the 1 ton accept the 1/2 ton break lines?

yes you have to use the parts for the same year as your truck.the only noticble difference is the brake lines that come out of the master cyilnder are on the oppest side

right now it is on a full size 79 ranger, and its going on my 79 F150. im doing a cab swap and the ranger cab already has the brake booster+MC on it, so just makes it one less thing to worry about.

I just did the 1 ton upgrade on my bronco and had to add the f-350 wheel cylinders,78 t-bird calipers and braided lines to connect the calipers to the old brake lines, with just the mc and booster you will probably find that you actually have LESS brakes as the f-350 booster is trying to force more fluid into the smaller brakes and you lose leverage against the drums and rotors
