Good pictures ; we were the ones watching you guys around 2:30pm with the two big puppies , we had just finshed hiking up the trails and did the terapy massage trail [how mountain bike do it I don't know because those jumps are wicked} we watched the gmc having to turn around in that mud hole beause of the rocks and several people were giving different spotting advice to him and then the suki came back from the road and went thru on the left side .

ha, so funny, shera, you've been on here forever, and I've never met you guys (I dont think) .. and there you were having funinbc..

rs: I didn't see james, bad luck! but I guess you're asking for it when you mix a suzuki and a toyota [f](LOL!)

the chev(s10) is in need of some trail tires.. I think he did pretty damn good on load-rated all-terrains pumped up to 40psi.

I didn't know about all the paint-ballers up there ! holy shit, its like a warzone! (apparently it is every sunday, I wanna paint-ball-gun!) I wonder if they organize the meets online somewhere?

I am TOTALLY FIXING MY TRUCK this week so I can put some action behind my words that I spoke when we were up there... I was all like, "I'd do that", "I'd climb that", or "I'd try it" .... well - I meant it! got quite a bit of wrenching to do before this sunday, but, who's in for some wheel-spinning-action this sunday?

cdn-xj - wanna play follow the leader? If you take me up on this, I guarantee your xj will school me. give'er!

There is a gate to stop people from going up there but they get in by the rock pile and go down power lines and than up a trail and comes out on the other side of the gate.. My son and I took our dogs out again for a hike up to Cypress lake and there were some people up there , we seen a blue jeep and sami , there was another toy. truck and jeep parked at the bottom of the trail starting up , full size trucks have a little more of a challenge getting thru the trees and rocks just before the road.

Went up to the top yesterday. A bit challenging in some spots.
gotta love the down pours and hail. Bypass is turning into some serious soup. Full sizes will have a diffucult time through the bypass.

that was an awesome trip, theres some neat challenges here and there on the way up, the trail is a lot different (rutted) than I remember! luckily the skies cleared up (for 15minutes.. no more) when we were at the top, so we could enjoy the views..

shera: I was in a black cj5 w/red stripe... I think we saw that blue jeep on the way out, they never made it past the bypass... he left his buddy in a fullsize stranded in the trees and we had to get him outta the way so we could leave.

cdn-xj, your truck rocked buddy. [36]

We hiked up to the top and it didn't rain until we got up to Cypress Lake then it poured , curious to try pass the lake and do the loop by White rock and than around but we usually don't start hiking up there until 1pm or so , but its cool to watch the trucks driving up especially trying to get thru that bypass because it is sure getting soupy. After a good day of hiking going to Woody's for Corona's and wings [11 cents each]] is sure good.[cheers]

midway90xj, did you go back a page in this post?

mudslinger, the fullsize barely made it through the first set of trees, but I've seen better driving in richmond. to top it off, we had to pull him out to get everyone else out, without so much as a thanks, and his 'buddy' had already taken off on him :p

shera, the hiking/biking trails I noticed were so well marked compared to years ago.. someone has really spent some time up there! there are some crazy mountain bike trails!

Shera

we meet 2 of the guys that have spent the time making the trails and making the map there, also 3 weeks ago we hiking the bike trails" message therapy" which was wicked , but the dogs loved running around and climbing their ramps ; almost got lost following one of the trails , finally made it back to the road and continued down the the area where our truck was. If you are ever up there we have the dodge diesel [with boneshakers 4X4 club on the side windows] parked before the gate .
