Alright here's the situation. i have a 74 chevy k-10. 350 motor, and my rocker arm studs are breaking. i bought the truck not too long ago, and it has edelbrock cam and lifters, with roller rockers and poly locks. i am trying to figure out why they keep breacking. weird thing is, its happened 3 times on the same side. the springs maybe too stiff for the stud to handle, but eventhe strongerones that i replaced havebroken. my question is: should i put stock springs in it, or what??? this is my first car/project and i am clueless as to what i should do. any help would be appreciated
thanks

if your cam lift and rocker ratio are too much the roller rockers or the valve springs could be binding.

yah what GZ said, look under the rockers to see if there binding or hitting somethings wrong with the geometry. the springs may also be bottoming out...or even the valves may be hitting the piston.
