i have a magazine in which they did a converson and all they did was ad the spacers for the other set of tires and wheels, and change the box to a dually.I think the rear end should be strong enough. The truck they did was an early 80's.

i'm going flat deck so i don,t need the box.
what size are the spacers?
my truck is an x cn rail rider, it has 1.5 spacers on the back to ride the tracks i guess?
i want to use dually rims up front as well, so i don't have to carry 2 spares.

Have you still got the goofy wheels? I might be interested if they're 19.5".
