Does anyone make a decent 35x10.5x16 tire or do I have to go with 12.5? What width rims would I need for either? Offset? For a 75 Chev 3/4 ton. Thanks.

So there are 35x10.5 tires? If not I guess I gotta go with the 12.5 and a 10" rim...sorry for asking so many questions but no one up here seems to know much.

8 inch rim for 12.5 s
narrower rim holds the bead better

I have 33/12.50/15's on 15/10 white spokes and my junk looks bad assed, I run 12psi on and off the road.

all i could find in kamloops was a set of stock rims, 16" anyways. what size tires could I go with them?...are they 7" or 8", if you measure outside they are 8"...I got the flu its gonna kill me I hope[xx(].........and talked to a local tire dude, he says he can get me some 35x10.5x16 tires so I'm all good if I had the freaking money for the tires. You measure to the inside of the lip.

Most stock 16" 8-lug steelies are 6" or 6-1/2" wide. That covers most of the Ford/GM/Dodge wheels since they abandoned the 16.5" size.

Ford started to use a nice beefy 7" wide steel wheel in the 90's.

They must be 6 & 1/2, think a 10.5 would still be okay on these size rims?

I know I'm a dumb ass newbie but it looks like 15 inch may be the way to go for tire choices and prices. I guess I need to grind my calipers a bit, it's a 3/4 ton? Hopefully some day I will know something and be able to help people instead of asking shit all the time. Thanks.

I'm tired.

yeah u'll need to grind down..no big deal. the narrower rim width will cause your tire sidewall to be suked in pulling ur tread contact patch upwards and off the road. a wider rim will but more of a contact patch on the road as it helps to spread the tire out not in.

Thanks Heavy Metal, so you think I should get wider rims? I obviously don't know shit but I want to learn more. If I got 10 inch rims would I have to grind the calipers down a whole bunch or about the same with any 15" rim? Gonna order some rims as soon as I know what to get for sure. Still thinking about 35x10.5 but I have 12.5's on it now and the only time it's a pain is when the roads are slushy. Depends what tires I can get up here for a good deal, I got a pretty good tire guy. Thanks again, sorry to be such a pain.

HAY BAKELITE

WITH A 15X10 U DO STILL DO HAVE TO GRIND SOME CALLIPER OFF BUT OH WELL.[stoned] IF U WERE GOING WITH 16" WHEELS NO GRINDING INVOLVED AND YOU COULD GET A 315/75/16 AND THEY STAND 34.8' INCHES TALL BUT A 35/1250/15 OR A 37/1250/15 LOOKS FCKN AWESOM.[cheers]

Ordered black steel 10 x 15's and a set of Remington Mud Brutes, 33 x 12.5..life is sweet. Would need to lift more or trim fenders for the 35's so I keeping it at 33 for now. :)[36]
