Well, it was not as warm as the weatherman had predicted-but when has that ever happened anyways???
I for one have not been wheeling for a while, in fact it has been just too damn long!!(I actually think the last time was a night run where there were so many sightings of the ficticous Ogopogo; although that depends upon how many drinks were consummed)
But, I should really stick to the subject at hand....
We headed out from Winfield to tackle the Spinekope Hill. It is in our own backyard so the terrain is known to us all. Crimson rode the way on a Quad, which came in handy sending him on scouting missions which was indeed a break for Taz, since most send him on those missions since he can crawl along goat trails most can only dream of.
The trip included our favorite trails and added some new ones.

Yeah, lost to the stump. I didn't even notice the stump when I went to climb the bank...drove right over the damn thing. The bank was loose dirt, and with stupid open diffs, couldn't quite crest the ridge, so I went to back down and take another run at it. Got too much overhang on the Blazer.
I'm wondering how big a deal it is to run without a rear bumper. Thinking I should just break out the sawzall and cut it off...along with the extra 6 inches of frame rail. Weren't rear bumpers an option a lot of years ago on Toyota PU's?? If so, wouldn't that set a precident for running without a bumper?

Yup. MinPin. She's a good little thing...not high-strung and yappy. She just likes to play, eat, sleep and snuggle.
