New gauges for CJ5

I have been looking for after market Gauges for when I replace the tub. The Dash will be Stainless Steel and I want to replace the stock gauges with White face gauges.

autometer gauges are nice but they are expensive, a 3.5"tach is about 300 bucks

Maybe something for a marine application so's they can get soaking wet. What you gonna do for seats? Mastercraft?

autometer has a cheaper version( autogage?), just as good as the autometers for stock engines

I am doing a custom dash conversion to frogdog and found i will prob use these gauges from http://www.autometer.com

ultra-lite series, silver face, speedo w/digital milage and tach to match..

another option for u to look at.

oh. forgot to mention they have white face as well if your going to keep stainless steel.. I personally am going to coat the new dash metal with a baked armaguard before instalation. is why im going silver with red lumius lighting.

anything can be fixed with a chainsaw a hammer some ratchet straps and duct tape.

Best Buy Performance usually has cheap autometer gauges.

To bad they dont have a reliability gauge for ya Kev, I think it would read 0 most of the time.

My Jeep has been pretty good but when you ask it to work like I do every weekend it needs the equal amount of tlc.

mogster i have a gas gauge that was in my parts jeep it isnt a stock one but a replacement.as long as your sending unit is the same it should work,it did when i pulled it you are more then welcome to it.let me know[iagree]

Hey Kev... I just figured out why these guys are harrassing you about the <s>Heep</s> oops I mean Jeep.


They're envious because the people that own and run this board prefer to post pics of your Jeep over all the others..... ya ya that's it!!:D

mogster i am in mission,i tried to e-mail ya but it sent it back so my number is 826 5490 name is josh i am in abbotsford tomorrow working so if that helps or not i dont know anyhow it's here if you want it is it going into a jeep?i know the sending unit is different than some when i put in my autometer fuel gauge it was a pain the ass to find the one that matches the sending unit[27]
