I could be wrong, but I don't think there's much point unless you're already turbo'ed.

It will make the motor more efficient.

i was reading that the propane gives it a little extra boost, on n/a diesels. i have all the stuff to do it, and its cheap, so why not. my 6.2 needs all the help it can get.

will a 6.2 even hold up to that?

If you do intall it let us know how it is for power and mainly if it blows you motor. I think it is equivelent to nos on a gasser. From my experience from that, if the motor isnt built around the fact that your using nos it wont last long.

haha i hope the motor doesnt blow! ill do it for the team. the propane doesnt add too many ponies, especially on a non-turbo, im putting it in during christmass. we'll see what it does.

I wouldnt do it on the old style 6.2, if any of those are actually still alive.

just put a nitrous kit in it with the propane injection wuth a huge turbo from banks and then redo the injection pump for more fuel pressure

shit happens when being stupid

Propane will do very little without the help of a turbo or at least some injection pump mods.Nitrous will add loads and isn't detrimental to the motor in any way.Anything you think you know about a nos gasser motor forget about it when dealing with diesel it is totally different. There are 2 ways to run it and niether will save any money or add much for power, but if it is too late and you have done it already look up any info on the injection pump for your truck, you should have a screw somewhere on the side of it,this screw will have a collar from the factory. If you use a dremmel and cut off the collar you can use that crew to customize the amount of fuel going through your motor PM me for more details this is too long winded.
