I just bought a 78 f-250 with no motor but it came with a 460 but they did not come stock with a 460. I went to Lordco to buy some headers but they are called a conversion header and the are about $700
one of the guys said I may be able to use a regular 460 header if I put a body lift in. The other place that sells them is L&L in the States they are nickel plated and have a lifetime warranty but are the same price. Has any body had a any experience with this. Also can I use my stocvk 400 motor mounts when putting the engine in or do I have to buy the conversion ones.

l&l headers are nice and perform well.its a lot of money, but may be worth it.as for engine mounts stock 460 ones can be modified to work, but the l&l ones save a lot of hassles.

i dont need people to get me,i just need people to get out of my way
