Well heres some of the picks from Pioneer mine, we didn't get to see it last time up there but it looks like they've been doing alot of work at the bottom, maybe just some clean up but you can't drive into it anymore:(

More nice pics

That ladder is Pic #7 tried to kill me last time! I was climbing up it, and I guess the nails that hold it to the wall pulled out because the ladder started falling back when I was about halfway up it. Fell off it and cut my leg good on a nice rusty nail[xx(] Some cool stuff up at the top though, and a nice view out the window.

Did you go inside the Safe? Amazing how thing they made the walls -- you can tell them must have had a lot of $$$ worth of gold stored in there at times

I didn't climb inside, but if it was concrete I'm sure I've seen it all before;) We did stop at the museum in but I didn't see that, but I thought the arcs were kind of cool out side, the guy must have been a wack job to build them. For those who haven't seen them or know the story I'll tell you and try and keep it short. Some nut job living up in the bush got at "meassage from god" and was told that god was going to flood the earth so he had to build these arcs. This guy lived in the mountian over 5000ft and built 3 of them but only 2 made it out to the museum. It's hard to explain what they look like but the about the size of a regular size camper and don't look like they would float at all, good thing the worlds fate wasn't in this guys hand:D

If you stay on the main road through Brealorn go about 5k or so start looking over the bank and down towards the river and you will see two old cabins when you see them turn around and go back about a 1/4 click there is a old road that leads down to them. you have to walk across the old bridge to get to them.If you keep walking just a little further up that old road you will see the other half of that old mine.theres an old school building more cabins, staging areas and so on.
