through the fish eyed lens of tear stained eyes
i can barely define the shape of this moment in time
and far from flying high in clear blue skies
i'm spiralling down to the hole in the ground where i hide

Starts about 15 km before princton and comes out into coalmont !

Lots of snow and high elevations up there so its a june till the snowfalls kinda trip ! Theres a large group that goes into there every thanksgivving ,,but they are all set up for DEEP snow and the bad conditions that can happen that time of year !I think That Wells lake is at about 5500 ft or better and you are above that elevation a fair bit!

The conditions were great. It got cold at night though

The dodge saw me go through that big water hole so he had to try to keep up and ended up dead in his tracks. What you don't see is the 8 inches of water that was in the cab of the truck. when he opened his door the water ran out. Now that was too funny.

We ran in to about three or four other groups with four to eight rigs in each group. I also ran in to an old work buddy. small world

VERY small !

One of the guys thats been going out on trips over the past year with us I found out this weekend my cousin works with him -Small world !

Hey Mickey ,, I wouldnt post those pics on bc4x as those puddles that were fun to play in are considered of the trail to that group ,, youlle get harrased !To me thats part of the trail --now if it was leaving the roadway and going tearing up a meadow -i dont like that -but keeping the holes right along the trail -just fun !It would be good if no knew mud pits were added becasue theres more then enough there already !

My brother and I have done the trip in october and it wasnt too bad. you just have to use your head and remember mother nature rules the roost , she can be a cold hearted bitch in the winter.
