Hey I just picked up a ProMotive pusher fan yesterday. (last time out wheeling the temp went way up). Would you suggest I take off the stock blade thats attatched to the water pump or should I leave both of them on and use the electric one only in extreme circumstances.

My rig is smaller than yours!!

That what I do. Only use the electric when needed.

oooooor. the pyp way :D. certain nissan and datsun trucks in the 80's ran an electric fan, also tempos did. find the probe, steal it, and any electric fan can be made to turn on at 180 or what ever they turn at.

84 sj410 with 16v w/EFI, auto 4-spd, 5.13gears, detroit ez locker rear, 14 inches wider then stock, 31x10.50 mickey thompson baja claws, 6 + inches of lift
broken u-joint count: 2

currently running on: mickies. love these things

if you use a thermal switch from a tempo, dont bother with a wrecker one-they are only$15 new from lordco, just get the wrecker plug n wires(pocket deal)

Ill hook it straight up to a switch and when I see it going up a bit more than normal I will turn it on. Maybe I will start looking for a sidekick rad, im sure that and the sidekick rad hoses should almost fit up to the stock block, if not minimal modifications should be needed, and I love hack jobs, shoulda seen the Talon =)

make sure you get the right sidekick rad. One is wider than the other and doesn't fit between the frame rail and the steering box. Also make sure you use the fan shroud or else your wasting your time.

Keep em both

U can always use extra cooling...
As for thermostat well a switch and relay are the best
then u have control...

AS for the ZUK well good improvment..

The really varied from tracker to sidekick auto to std a/c no a/c. I think that the earlier 90ish std trans is the one that i had just measure what you have room for first.

if you always drive in water that is at least 4' deep cooling is not an issue.

tires stay cleaner too.

I tried that its expensive.

It may only be a samurai but it's still better than your jeep.
