View Full Version : Rear Axle

If you were gonna lose your rear axle, where would you want to do it?
a) While out in the middle of nowhere 4x4ing,
b) driving around town in rush hour or
c) while doing 100 on the freeway?

My advice? Don't pick c) while doing 100 on the freeway. It sucks ass let me tell, especially when you realize the transfer case if pooched too.

It's been a great day![27][27][27][28][27][27][27]

That sucks !!

Up east harrison, I ran into a logger who's axle was laying on the road next to his truck...
He just asked me to let them know at the camp.
Looked pretty funny though

Yes, very lucky I didn't crash. Was in the slow lane attempting to navigate a slight incline of the road so fortunately the side of the freeway was pretty close at hand. Oh well, what can you do??? Count my blessings and be thankful it was the front.......

If you cant do it yourself that looks resonable !

Why arent you attempting the change your self and save the labour dollars?? Even if it cost a bit of beer for help its still good to get your hands dirty and learn about your truck -Bruce
