To make a long story short, the Samurai barfed a water pump and head gasket on the way out of town (great way to start a holiday). I made it all the way the to 280th[:o)] before having to turn around and SLOWLY make my way home. Transfered all the stuff into the DD and was off to holidayland only three plus hours behind schedule.
I'll be back in that part of the world for the long weekend and hopefully have the Samurai back in the mix. We haven't made any calls on what we're running yet so I'll try to get over that way. I'll keep you up to date...

I'll probably take you up on that Rich. I'm thinking Saturday will be the start but who knows, I had to shell out 6 bills to get the dog fixed from him ending up on the wrong side of a two on one fight. Nice way to end the holiday, spend the Samurai fund fixing the dog:(, I'll have to post a pic or two in the carnage section, do dogs count???
I will go back Bruce, it's not if, it's when....[3]

Sorry to hear about the dog getting hurt . Also i see i'm not the only one that had problems leaving on a trip with a break down ; up by Hope scales[in mArch} we could smell something burning and thought it was the trailer in front of us so I passed him could still smell smoke and then realized we were on fire and smoke was bellowing out the back .Pulled over on the side of the freeway and I grabbed the 2 puppies while my husband checked what was on fire in my jimmy[ I forgot the fire exstinguisher[can't spell} was in his dodge noone stopped to help us . It turned out my transmission pump blew up and the oil caught fire. Bcaa cost a lot to get the truck towed back[13]
