Ok, Zukers...What is the real cost involved in
doing the Toyota axle swap Used stuff with 5.29's+lockers+steering???
The labor is free on this end...just parts I'm curious about.
If someone has done it let me know....

make me an offer, i have a set of toy axles with 5.29:1 gears with a welded rear. they are in my sammy right now.

It may only be a samurai but it's still better than your jeep.

dana 60s, and a 350 (probably) sorry u-can-2, it'll take more than 20 and a pack orf smokes. i cant even buy a case of beer with $20.

i could use a front with 5.29's, don't need the rear though..
how much?

84 sj410 with 16v w/EFI, auto 4-spd, 5.13gears, detroit ez locker rear, 14 inches wider then stock, 31x10.50 mickey thompson baja claws, 6 + inches of lift
broken u-joint count: 2

currently running on: mickies. love these things

Doing the swap right now for a buddy. The big $$$$$ is the cross over steering. Making everything else our selves. Just running stock gears right now so no cash in that. I think when were done the total should be under 1200 bucks. Including the purchase of the toy diffs.

i was always wondering... the driveshaft angle at the rear must be horrible! i remember with my centered output, and 410 rear end, i was snapping ujoints every month, not to mention destroying yokes.

that's why i'm goin rear steer, this way i can get the yota front in the back *lil cut and weld on the housing* and have the diff input on the pass. side.

Got the steering from a guy in Mission. Here is a pic. Price was awesome. Complete kit with tie rods and drag link 600.00 bucks no tax

It is a pre order thing. 1/2 down then the rest when you pick them up. He cant keep them on the shelves long. Plus he is only selling to the local market.

$60 each.85 toy front shaft is a bolt in for the rear,needs to be lengthened for the front.
