I've heard that 1/4 elliptical is tough to get used to, cuz as you can see in the picture, it turns itself into an uncontrollable 'rear-steer' system when flexed... what you guys think? also not much actual pressure on the contact tire..

Very true. Look at that back drivers tire. Looks cool, but how much traction can it be getting [?] I've come to realize myself that to much wheel travel can get you in trouble. I was all crossed up once, with all four tires still touching........and boom, over she went. Allot of guys who ran 1/4 elip have changed to coilovers, especially in the ARCA events.

Jon & Kev............. It's on bitches. [!]Jeepputz [14]Hardly Whiteass

i have been interested in the eliptical type suspension, thinking of building it on my f150(3/4 elliptical with bump stops and limiting straps, but this is my daily driver so i am still trying to figure out a way of making a mount to mount the rear of the top spring to the frame near the shackle so it wont be too uncontrolable on the street.

a giant wing nut.

drill a hole in the springs, weld a peice of ready rod or a bolt to the frame, and bold it in place when ever you are streetin it.

84 sj410 with 16v w/EFI, auto 4-spd, 5.13gears, detroit ez locker rear, 14 inches wider then stock, 31x10.50 mickey thompson baja claws, 6 + inches of lift

ford leafs are outboard the frame so he'd have to build new inboard mounts
