you dont want 66 or earlier, they are either dana 30's or 35's. the later 70's had the dana 44. the jeep wagoneer has a driver side dana 44, but it is a low pinion, and set up for leafs.

ive got a dana 44 high pinion that id be willing to part with, but it is for a fullsize

no such thing as a solid front d35 in a early bronco

your having a hard time finding a 66' and earlier bronco d44 because there are no 66' and earlier broncos they go from 66'-77' i belive they only used the d44 in 71-77 anyways before that it was the d30 i suggest finding a fullsize hp ford d44 and gettin it cut down to the width you want (not really that much $$$) only $100 at a place here in lake country

i got my eb d44 for $100 (needed gears shafts and brakes) just keep lookin and be patient

it's light it's fast it's powerful

everything a chevy isn't

Start with a full width high-pinion D44 and cut the longside down to use the early Bronco, or Wagoneer shaft.

I did one of these in an afternoon with an angle grinder, chop saw, and a BFH. Got everything done except for a bead of weld to make it permanent. ;)
