OK MY STARTER IS ACTING WEIRD IIN THE MORNING WHEN I GOTO START MY TRUCK IT STARTS FINE BUT IF I DRIVE IT FOR A WHILE AND GET IT TO OPERATING TEMPARTURE THEN SHUT IT OFF AND THEN GO TO START IT IT BARLEY TURNS OVER AND THE BATTERY CABLES GET HOTTER THEN FUCK AND SO DOES THE STARTER.AND WHEN MY ELECTRIC FANS COME ON THE VOLTAGE DROPS ALOT. CAN ANYONE HELP ME THIS IS PISSING ME OFF

My girl friends truck did the same thing.Change the starter you have a short in it.

starter solenoid may be fucked it is not on the starter like other shitty vehicles it will be located on the firewall/fenderwell near the battery (it is affected by heat severly)

it's light it's fast it's powerful

everything a chevy isn't

The starter bushings are worn. More than likely the brushes won't be far behind. It can be repaired. If you can get a discount at a parts store- buy a new one!
