yes, the long weekend.

i know postil is going on, and definaty going.

thing is, my GF is gonna be here, and she is more of a city girl then anything, so i will be takin her to postil for a few hours so she can get a taste of boggin, but i would also like to get her on some trail rides too.

any local day trips that anyone is planning for the long weekend?

and hopefully not far from kelowna / winfield. truck is anything but street legal and boggers are not fond of pavement, or my gas mileage :P

also, be nice if we can get some decent hill climbs, like we did near the bottom near the fence on spinecop, and maybe work out way up to something like the front face ?

SO IS ANYONE GONNA GO WHEELIN THIS WEEKEND?!?!

i was thinkin of getting a few of us together and maybe try to go up the old postil road, then stop in at the bogs for a while, and then either go past the bogs on the trails, or up and down the high rim. never been on any of those 3 trails and should be fun to explore.

may be have a nice new trail, maybe just a lil ride, who knows till we drive it :D

You up to getting muddy up to your neck again?? That was awsome man... I told ya to put on the tow rope first... [9] You'll be happy to know the mud should be a lil warmer now than last time. [15]

Yeah definately we should get some trails in this weekend as well. I am told there are lots of good trails up towards the lake. I know there is at least another 3 or 4 of us that would come along. [3]

Yeah, with me (or should I say my truck) not being much of a bogger, I would very much like to go on a few trails while we're up by Postill. Maybe, we can meet for a few trails Saturday morning or early afternoon before we hit the bog (and have too many beer to drive responsibly)

How bout we just meet at the PIT. I dont know about everyone, but I will be camping out at the pit Friday night. That way we can get as many trucks together as possible. I do wanna be back at the pit later Saturday to camp out there again.

I know of BATA service road. I have been up and down that many times. Even in the winter. (It is the best in the winter!!!) That is a nice warm up path. But all I have seen past it is the main service road that drops down in Joe Rich. If anyone knows of good trails up there and wants to lead... [3][3][3]

SJ where you plan on camping out at the boggs Saturday night? I was planning on camping about a 3 min walk to the fire pit away, for obvious reasons.... Be sure to hook up with us before you pitch your tent. We'll have a spot all setup by the time you get down.

Winch what time Friday are you going to be down this way? We could hook up at the bottom and drive up that afternoon / evening when you get here.

Wasp when did you say you would make it down?

Okay, I can be at the bog by around 6 Friday night, and the rest of the family will come seperately on Saturday. What time are you planning on going? Are there any good spots nearby, preferably with a creek, where I can pitch the tent? What time are we planning on wheeling Saturday?

Ok well I will meet you at the Propain outlet next to the Airport say 6-6:30pm Firday. From there we will head up. As for a creek next to the bog... Um... Not that I am aware of, but I am sure we can find one fairly quick. If not I carry a fair bit of water. No family till Saturday night?? OOO PARTY TIME!!!! And wheeling on Saturday, well I would imagine it would be late morning till late afternoon. Then we can head back to camp.

Right where you turn left off of the highway. The train tracks will be in right front of you, airport on the right, and propain on the left. Don't cross the train tracks, there is a open area by the propain outlet i will meet you at.
