I finally got around to getting a digital camera and I took a few pics of my CJ-7 project to test it out. I thought I would share them with everyone. I bought the Jeep complete, drove it home and immediately tore it down to the frame and began rebuilding it. If been working at it for a little over a year now. I'm hoping to get it finished within the next few months so I can enjoy the summer with it and come out wheeling with some of you guys.

Damn, that looks nice, even for a jeep [f]. What did you use for paint on the axles and frame? It looks pretty durable. I like that green too, what specific paint is it?

The paint on the axles and frame is "Rust Not" - Flat black . It made by Plasti-Kote and available at Lordco. http://www.plasti-kote.com/plastikote/index.jsp

The engine paint is an engine enamel from the same company and is also available from Lordco. The color is Alpine Green (close to either the Detroit or Allison diesel color). I couldn't buy the original AMC color so I went with the closest I could find.

I thought the colors looked familiar, ive done some of my engine and the trans with the alpine green and ive found rust not to be the nicest spray paint to work with, it holds up pretty good too. Good work [3]

Well it's finally finished. It took 16 months and roughly 1100 hours to get it to this point. The jeep is primarly stock with the following changes:

- Custom bumpers and sliders
- CV driveshaft
- Hiem joints in clutch linkage
- Larger gas tank
- Smittybuilt center console
- (2)-130w lights
- (4)-Frame lights
- CD player

The drivtrain is stock with:

- 304cid V8
- T176 Transmission
- Dana 300 Transfer case
- AMC model 20 rear axle
- Dana 30 front axle

Here are some pics....Let me know what you think. (I'll put my flame suit on [8D])
