the cans stick to the mud, what can i say, there was a bottle stuck on it towards the end, it's gooey mud!

and yes, crimsons stuck was PRICELESS!! he ended up blowing up his muffler, i'll let him tell teh story behind that!!

sunk he rear end in the pic, and there was to much back pressure. stalled, started again, but had it matted and no gear or anything, was only at 1000 rpm. stalled again.

hooked the winch up, tryed to start, no go. pulled out, checked my intake and distributor. then got towed back tryoing to bomb start it. started trying in 4th, then in 2nd. after a lil in second it started to fire alot more but was back fireing alot. there was alot of stuff in the exhaust. was enough to give enough backpressure to blow the muffler.

ran fine after the muffler blew. sounds good too :D

will i lose some power with the blown muffler due to no backpressure?

you'll be able to rev it quicker maybe less tourqe but no worrys bout burin valves or anything afterall you still have the stock manifolds on there right? they give plenty o backpressure

i guess it's time for some water proofing eh?

crimson...just a suggestion I havent seen posted yet...but I am sure someone and even perhaps you have already thought of it...I had to block my hot air intake once...and found a can that was same diameter...I cut the bottom 1/2" off the can and it fit just slightly loose over the little flange for yer "stove pipe" to connect to...so, I wrapped a couple winds of black electical tape around the flange...then popped on the tin can base...and used a hose clamp to hold it...this was a good temporary (I sold the vehicle and it is olikely still on there) fix that left the option open to one day attach the stove pipe (for winter driving...need the hot air)...The pics are great...we should have snapped a few more of crimson when he was trying to clean up with the towel...it showed alot more mud on him...too funny...that was a good scene guys...I couldnt help but notice that day tho, that nobody was using any herbal ;) ;) stimuli to accentuate the level of humor in any given situation (wink wink nudge nudge)...am wondering if certain substances are frowned upon with your group, or was it just one of those days where all the medication was left at home...I have a bit of metal work to do to my ol' scoutII and a lesson from taz in carbs (isnt that the Atkins diet?) before I can do much more than tag along and spectate...but soon I will be in for a few steeper hills and some more scratches dings and dents to add to that International Harvester look I'm going for...till then you all keep blaming the damage to one loose nut...behind the wheel ;)
