gutted the a/c off the broncoII
Is the compressor any good for onboard air?
Im thinkin that the cooler in front of the rad is gonna come out as well and make for a nice trans cooler once i flush it. For the F150
Also Cleared up a ton of space with all that a/c crap gone..[:0]
The 2.9 is not a power house as it is ..:D

Any pointers on this...
also going with a temp gauge for the trans. On my 97 F150

They will work, just plan on replacing them every couple years. The lack of lube weras them out rather quickly.

Lube on the compressor?
This model does not have a means of lubrication?
I would run it intermittenly via pressure switch..
and tank.
Could one add a lubricating system such as a phnumatic oiler?

Yes, they need lube. The freeon acts as a lube. You can add an oiler, but for the cost ect, just replace it every couple years.

I run the engine blowby trouhg the intake port of the a/c compressor. When the a/c is working there is oil in the system it is carried oround by the refrigerent be it r12 or r135a.

I would still be posed with the task of mounting it on the Triton in the F150
different belt config.
Plus countless other crap to bolt on.

Not worth it. Igot 2 12volt pumps and a lot of time.
Plus a air tank I should be good.
this system was bone dry who knows for how long
thats why I gutted it out of there.
Ill find a use for it all
until then it will sit with all the other crap that piles up.

As Like my post said it was disconnected and bone dry..
I have plans for it:D

I have leaf's from my 97 f150
when i upgraded them.
I will make em work..
New coils for the front
Ect...
New gears hopefully. To turn them bigger tires..
I got some rust to cut out of the front drivers fender
Other than that the rest of the body is nice and sound..
Undercoated as well as the frame..

O.K.:(
You can do all the service work on it and i will put the a/c system back on then you can pay$$$ to have it recharged as well as replace the compressor. and belt to drive it
Oh did I mention it will now stay on those funny little 29" tires.
If you want a/c then no lift or mods as the 2.9 is maxed.[}:)]

Ya maybe ^" suspension is a little overkill for this
after all i doubt it will get any thing larger than a 33" tire.
I have to trim about 2.5" on the fender then add some bushwacker flares..
Then this will not happen for a long time as it has to be a daily driver.
