Try a different gauge,if the copresion is all the same you could have a bad gauge.

Yeh it is weird, I thought maybe the valve timing was off causeing
low compression but the marks line up. I guess I will pull the heads
and go from there???

A possible cause could be plugged exhaust. You can check it by drilling a small hole in the exhaust ahead of the converter and mufflers.hook up a psi gauge 0-10 psi.The rule of thumb wiht a runnig engine is anything over 1.5 psi and the exhaust is plugged. In your case wiht a no start and low compression I would guess that you would see over 5 psi just cranking the engine over.

I had the same problem with my last bronco II one of the baffels in the muff let go plugged her up like a stuffed pig .... got more gutless by the minute until
doned on me there was little to nothing coming out the tail pipe.
Bored some big a$$ holes in the muff front wall and she worked till i could service it.
It' a FORD need I say More.....It drinks lots of Gas,Chews Tire's and eat's BUSH
