Yeah, I only got a short one (36") , and it doesn't seem to fit anywhere nicely I am thinking about cutting it down to two pices.

I got a jeep, and it never seems to look the same.

What type of Jeep do you have. Mine is on the rear tire carrier mounted near the top. I think I have a picture I will post. Bruce's small highlift is mounted under his rear tire carrier. The problem with that is it gets full of mud and crap and you have to lube it up before you can us it.

hMMM.I got a 87 YJ... Guess i should fill in that signature thing one day. That's why i don't really want to leave mine outside and full of crud. Having a winch, i figure if i ever need the jackall, i will be pissed off enough already, and it had better be in workin condition, otherwise i would end up tossing it into the bush and leavin it there... or buryin it in the hole when i leave. I am thinking of trying to mount it to the roll bars somewhere. I don't want it up high, because if it even came down, that would suck. And it doesn't fit in my empty rear tub worth a shit it seems. Anyone ever split the jack beam in half and made some sort of quick connection ?

:D I got mine mounted in my box with all the other recovery crap i haul[9] But then thats one of the perks with a full size lots of room.
I would suggest a mount on your spare tire carrier. or off your reciever for your hitch, easy to fab something up .
But do not cut your JAck ALL Dude!![:0]

36" Thats pretty short that would not even lift my tire off the ground[15]

It' a FORD need I say More.....It drinks lots of Gas,Chews Tire's and eat's BUSH

[:I] I think my rig was about two weeks old when I mounted the jack.
After spending four hours stuck at Dixon Dam it was never that clean again. [15]

Yeah, i know 36" is short... It was the only one i could find, and i was installing my 3" lift, so that is what i had to get. I figure I can always stuff something underneath it... and make it even more unstable then it alredy is... LOL. I have a longer one back home that i will get one day.
