Howzabout we all give a fast run down on what we Jeep with and what we are doing.

I'm from Vernon, Prez of OK4x4.ca
I drive a 2003 Rubicon, 2" suspension, 1" body lift, 33x10.5" BFGs, lots of skid plates, custom bumper with a Warn 8274 winch.

I just recently added an air bag shut off switch so my son can come wheeling, and my almost-completed project is rerouting my air intake to the cowl for better water fording. Next comes longer shocks, possibly with custom mounts.

Only carnage so far this year is the yutsy plastic rear bumper caps and the tie rod.

08-06-2003, 01:37 PM
Alright.... well, mine is a 87 YJ. It has a 3" RC spring lift, and a 2.5 custom body lift. I have a custom made 1/4" tube bumper up front holding my Warn 8724. My hard top has a mess of lights on it i never use. I run on 31's. I have no lockers, bad 3.07 gears, a busted posi loc that never works right, a 6cyl 258 with barely any compression left in it. Doesn't like reving past 2500 either without the lifter sounding like it wants to hammer thru the side of the block. The tranny leaks like a siv, and i think the t-case chain is stretched real good. :D I still love drivin it. I got RS5000's in the back that are too long... and stock front shocks that have about 3/4" before they are topped out. The CD player don't work no more... got rattled to death i think.
I have plans for scout 44's SOA (which i have now) chev 350 power (have alredy) and a sm465/NP205 combo (which i also have already).
Hope i can get that stuff in there soon. I also have a V-twin mopar air-conditioning compressor siting on my apartment floor for a future air compressor... and two fiberglass 3000 psi air tanks. :D Oh, and i am gonna paint it olive green.

I got a jeep, and it never seems to look the same.

There was always a great trail on the way back from Placer that I always loved to run ,,,, Especially when there were toyotas following ,,, Id always have to go back and pull them off as they would be hanging on thier rear bumpers and not enough pull from the front end to get them up the hill ahead !!

Yes I was a jerk as I knew they would always get hung up there !!

Cant we do that once in a while tho?????

Wow... not a lot of responses here huh. What about the best mods you guys have on your jeep... that makes it your jeep. The fact that mine is beat to death and still runs is amazing enough to me.
So far i have drawn out the bottom side of my jeep on CAD... I plan on doing some hacking here soon, guess i should learn to weld so i can put it back together... [:0]

I will see if i can get some pictures and stuff together sometime too.

Hey whiteass... is that winch invisible or something..? I don't see any winch on the front of that rig... and it's in your mod list. I was just wondering if it covered up your rad as bad as it does on mine.
