Try a truck wrecker. Transport trucks have several air tanks of many sizes. The bungs are already there and the demand isn't there so the price should be low. I've picked up several from central valey here for about $20 each.

You can buy new ones for about $40-50 each..... I have bought a few from "Traction" heavy duty parts in Coquitlam off United Blvd. "Traction" is the HD parts outlet of NAPA. They have a variety of sizes in stock, and can usually get in alternate sizes.
As for used, sometimes that is better if a standard size is not gonna work. Sometimes some trucks used some really odd ball stuff! I have come across some really small tanks as alternate tanks on the HD trucks. There is P&R in Langley, and 99 truck parts at the foot of the Patullo in Surrey.
"It's ALL GOOD!"
Been there... done that... waiting for the video!
