my brother got some mud sucked into his engine and hasnt ran it since...is there anyway of flushing something through it to clean it out??

Take out all of the spark plugs and turn the engine over and over untill there is no more water shooting out of the spark plug holes. Then change the oil and he should be good.

I was once told "if you dont break anyting, you are not trying" and i think i have lived up to that.

[:0]Dude the only way to fix that is to do it right you got to pull the heads
Clean the heads and flush intake possibly then lever each valve to clean any debris out of passage with air.

oil the piston tops well and cleanout brining each one up one at a time by hand cranking the block
then spring for new gaskets and put her back together.

P.s. change the oil in block as well

I have to agree with in the zone,,,,,This could save you an engine,,,, As he hasnt run it since taking in the water mud,,, do it right and clean her out ,, whats it going to cost a head gasket???
