Hey ALL,,,,,,,

Welcome to camping with a HOT TUB !!!!!! Doesn't it just change all your ideas about camping !!!As we have figured out with time and mistakes , you always need a few spare pumps for either parts or whatever as once you have the tub going ,, you sure want to keep it going even when your pumps dont cooperate !

I wonder if you have had any blowouts with the hoses on the coils? Did someone make the mistake of taking the pickup out of the tub? or did it get suctioned to the bottom at some time ?

We use two pumps going at all times ,, one for recurculating the hot tub through the fire ,,, and the other for filling the tub and keeping water on demand at the fiberglass laundry tub that we pack along ( It works great as a carrying case for all the pumps and hoses )

Now that you have done this one time ,,,,,,, YOU WILL NEVER want to go camping without it !!!!

WHat we did this past summer was to make a folding plywood tub that is aproximatly the size that you have there ! It sets up in about three minutes and the tarp is bonded to the plywood bottom and sides, I could send you pics and show you how we did it if youd like !It also has seats al the way around to allow you to put your drink on ,, or just to sit on when the tub is just to hot to sit in ! With the second pump going you can also cool the tub with ease instead of tryng to do it wih pulling the coil out of the fire,, you leave the coil in at all times and just add cold water to maintain a comfortable temp ! When using the pressure pumps from an rv you can leave the pump on with a spray end and just add when you need cold water !

Did anyone else arrive to see this setup???? Its sure fun seeing the looks on peoples faces when they see a setup like that ! But we are all just having ------FUNINBC------- LOL
Great job ---- Bruce

Nice pics t_girl...

I suspect that KBB was most appreciative for the relaxation time.

Lookin' to trade: A 35 year old lady. High mileage, runs kinda rough (might need to be tuned), requires lots of patience, money, and tlc. Willing to trade for later year, lower mileage model...maybe two eighteen year olds?

This was our first time at streak, did lots around Dee and Nicklen. Loved it up there so spring is definitely a must! It's convenient for everyone, we go in from Vernon and the Kelowna crowd can go in through Oyama. Looking forward to more exploration for sure<img src=headbanger.gif border=0 align=middle>
