The back was easy. I made blocks that were tappered. The d44 was another story. Had to remove axle , Grind and cut old perches. Purchased new perches, Perches could be made. Relocate the perches and weld. Not that hard. Time consuming.
When I installed the axles I had all the time in the world. I took me about two weeks from start to finish.
What do you have or done??

Very nice. Like the mud eh! Unclear on running gear. Didn't see a good clear shot that would give me peek at the running gear.Corporate 12 rear, d44 or corporate 10 up front?
4 inch lift? What do you think of your 35's for clearance? Do they rub a bit? I was thinking of placing 36-38 under my rig. I may have to trim a bit and small body lift.
What did you do about your steering box/frame? Or have you?
I was under the hood of my rig today and found a crack where the steering box meets the frame. It may have to wait until I put into hiberation this fall to fix that.
I may have scored today. I guy I work with is seperating from his wife and needs to unload some stuff. Anyway he just bought a new ford 3/4 ton(poor guy, desperate times), Anyways he has a new detroit locker for my rear and newly rebuild np205(3.7:1). Well he and I have been talking and guess I have another winter project. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
I don't have any pictures to show ya my rig but check out our site.www.offcamber.tk I'm the only blur blazer. Everything on my rig is homebuilt.Liftblocks, exhaust, traction bars, custom cooling fans, diconnects for swaybars, rock sliders, 6 point rollcage, swingaway tire carrier I know there is more but I can't remember. Oh ya I'm installing a heat exchanger for on board hot water for showering should be done this weekend.

Dana 44 front and 12 bolt rear i got 4.11 gears to put into it but haven't yet was trying to sell them and i was going to put a transfer case update into mine but nobody wants the gears for the price i want so i will keep them befor i give them away. tires are 35x12.5 with 15x7 inch american outlaw 2's never had a problem with rubbing yet but if i do i made my own 2 inch body lift to put in if i have to but not yet. steering box i pulled and bought the kit from north shore off road and welded it in believe it was around $100.00
{last blazer broke frame there so i know they are bad 4 that} also your steering box bolts take the spacers of the bolts and replace the bolts with smaller length bolts with large washers and that helps the frame huge
and no i don't like the mud just don't have alot of rock crawling pictures yet check out chehalis to harrison lake loop that is my truck also.
really check that frame there could be alot of crack's around it chevy's are bad 4 that good luck
