View Full Version : Whipsaw
Few of us are going to do whipsaw after the melt. I've never done it. Here's the question my friend has a power wagon with a 4.5 lift. Can a full size make it through ??

I would say yes being a newer power wagon should have locker and factory winch
And I believe king machine did it in his 6x6 a year ago or so

Full size no problem, whipsaw isn't what it used to be, most of it can be done in 2wd now,
Cool. Good to know. We were hopping to try last weekend of June. Think the snow will be gone ?

Depends on our weather to be honest. U might see a little at loadstone an at the peak near the cabin but june u should be fine. Might see a little there still
I have done whipsaw backwards (loadstone to wells) in 2wd locked. I know i cant 2wd drive it if i go in from the cowsnest way but ive seen diesel pickups make that trail. Whipsaw is a highway now a days

There will prolly be snow in the tree lines, like in the areas where it gets less sunbut u should be ok,

Loadstone will have snow for sure but I've done that in my 1 ton with a camper on so shouldn't be a problem

I was camping in tulameen may long weekend and was hitting 2 feet in spots 10 minutes above tulameen. I'm sure whipsaw will be deep
Not good news. But with the heat waves there having up there we might get lucky

It will be muddy in a few spots when the snow is gone lol Lots of water
I wouldn't worry the size of the truck.

I was just up there last weekend. Dry and dusty for anyone thinking of going
I'm still thinking of going but had a sidewalk go on another mud terrain and still waiting for my track bar !!!!! If I can get it in this weekend I'm down to go anytime with 3 33" mud terrains and one all terrain
