Nice! I was thinking of grabbing that one for the collection. Welcome to the club.

Needs to be registered and insured if used on crown land

Really depends where and when you are riding. ......

Did you get anything signed by the seller? That makes it easy

Or else you go through a notary

Chody
11-10-2016, 06:24 AM
No, nothig signed.

harvester_sorrow
11-10-2016, 08:24 AM
Notary it is. I did it to make sure it wasn't stolen and to have it in my name

Chody
11-10-2016, 10:11 AM
Where did ya go? Do they do everything? Or is is just notary then random insurance place?

Chody
11-10-2016, 11:20 AM
Side note... did not realize that this thing could move 260lbs so fast

harvester_sorrow
11-10-2016, 04:48 PM
Any place should do it.

Go to insurance broker get paper work

Get paperwork filled out, some get notary to do it. I filled it out then showed insurance place so I didn't waste $25 getting it notarized.

Go to insurance place and take it up the ass by the man $$$$$$$

The sticker fits nicely on the front fork with some trimming

Side note, I'm under the 150 lbs limit :D

I bouht the icbc 200k one that lets me cross highways and parking lots... do i need more? Or is it just overkill?

harvester_sorrow
11-23-2016, 10:04 PM
I'm no expert. From what I know

The icbc $60 just covers you to unload in a parking lot and cross a highway. Period

Then you still need liability insurance to ride a FSR

4skin
11-24-2016, 11:58 AM
That sounds stupid enough for ICBC
Sell a policy that should just be a add on to the policy that covers you on a fsr

harvester_sorrow
11-24-2016, 04:40 PM
Yup, and I almost bought it till I got them to explain it to me

4skin
11-24-2016, 06:16 PM
That would suck thinking you had done everything proper
And get 600 bucks or so in fines for no insurance
Sometimes I think they make it so confusing on purpose
Just for the revenue it brings in

harvester_sorrow
11-24-2016, 07:14 PM
Yup. Lady asked if I wanted icbc insurance when I registered my dirt bike.
Only $60!?!?! Sign me up
Then I realized it was useless
Most people don't know that.

unless you got the insurance decal with the decal plate you are gonna want to buy the extra coverage like mentioned to not get hastled. they also asked to see my driver license last time i got checked.

4skin
11-25-2016, 04:11 PM
So now that you mention it burge do you need a bike licence riding a two wheeler on the fsr ?
Or reg drivers licence work

i wasnt on my bike when i got checked. i believe a normal license is fine. Thats when i decided to get the decal for the plate on the bike though lol

4skin

They never asked for licence when I was riding my bike
They just saw the plate and let me go
Glad it was fsr and not road don't have a bike licence lol

sounds about right ,resource roads /fsr are fine with non icbc liability ins as long as you are not crossing a gazzeted road(hwy) .
