So I'm doing the mud flap thing on the xj and wondering if anyone has come up with a cheap and affective quick release braket thing. I was thinking magnetic or pin release?

Pin style like a trailer hitch would work

Teck screws into bumper cordless impact to remove and install
And the cordless will come in handy for the upcoming repairs
After you removed the flaps

I bought a length of this piano hinge for the deuce. I bent one of the ends of the pin 90 deg. to use as a handle. Then greased the pin up. Works great
