Yup ...it was love at first sight :) but shes mine now [36] gonna miss the TJ and where is built to now ....but pretty stoked for the new adventures to come in the LJ.

2006 Rubi LJ, 55k, 6speed .
4.5" lift (with shitty 2.5" coil spacers getting removed ASAP)
adjustable control arms upper/lower
ARB diff covers
Warn F/R Bumpers and Steering box skid
5.13s (with spare 4.10s) with Chromos
33" TSLs (upgrading to 35")
Hardtop and brand new Soft Top
Brand new Q9000 Winch
Bushwacker fender flares...

Definetley needs alot more to get to where my TJ is...but its a good start for a longer vehicle for my Family. Already bought a new RE Tracbar..ditching the coil spacers, 1ton Steering is in the works and 35s soon to come.

Interior is so mint you could eat off the dash....looking forward to getting some things replaced that need attention , like removing the 2.5" Coil spacers and get some 35s .... 1ton steering

Really stands out with that color.

Maybe you can keep up to me now with the longer wheel base :p

Does it really have more room? Like it holds a flat of beer as opposed to a case?

so much nicer than the tj

thanks bud...its really a nice upgrade , so much newer and lots of room. Even the back row seat is further from the front seats, after coming from the TJ its a mansion hahah.... still gonna miss the TJ ...but excited to build this one up a bit and go down south with it [36]

its pretty big inside, 8" longer wheelbase than a jk 2 door but the tub is longer at the back so has more space.

33's on it? Looks good

Hopefully u don't get a VI On this one :D

Yeah Nick..gonna sell the 33s and find some used 35s to see how it is...install the spare 4.10s too. The 5.13s are way too steep

10-04-2015, 11:44 PM
Try tires before swaping gears
The 5.13 and 35s might put it close to stock ratio on stock size tires
Well a 4.56 would be closer to stock but the 5.13 are in it
4.10 wouldn't be enough gear with 35s fifth gear would be useless on anything other than flat ground
And would really suck wind towing the trailer

how does the wheelbase compare to the 4dr?

Drop a Sprintex supercharger on that bitch with the 4.10's and join the one legger club!

how does the wheelbase compare to the 4dr?

not quite sure compared to JKs...but I think pretty damn close...16-18" longer than a TJ...more room from the back seat to the front seats, and ALOT more cargo space...I can already feel the difference on the road with the longer base
