what about a skeg protector , the ones that also protect the prop a bit? like whale tail but on the skeg .

That's what I was looking at. Looked more heavy duty for extreme dingy-ing. Lots of drag though. But know worries about the skinny water

raise the engine on the transom till the cavitation plate is level with the bottom of the haul. you will gain clearance and a mile an hour or two. hell im even leaving my fins off for a while. although the hole shot it nice, but they slow you down.

you should get a jet leg for your big block and rock that!

25 hp jet, my dingy might survive that....
