Bullshit ...............

thieves will have a harder time selling stolen bikes when the potential buyer knows he will have to register it.

A lot of stolen bikes, sleds, atv's end up on rural properties or out of the Provence. Registration will have some impact but theives will adapt and be back in business in no time

Shitty to hear about the bikes , getting stuff stolen is very violating and makes you want to lock everything up tighter then a nun.

I think the registration will help reduce the sale of stolen stuff to unsuspecting buyers .

co's, forestry, virtually everyone given the green light to check will be checking bikes quads etc not because they want to get your bike back but more because they can ticket someone and if its stolen its just a bonus .
Basically anyone without a plate will be a target and a lot of the ORV clubs are being asked to report unplated quads and to assume they are stolen if they are not plated.

still hope unless its already been turned into parts or some crakalaka doesn't care if they are caught or not in which case you might not want it back anyways.

believe it or not I think bc has over 90% recovery of stolen vehicles (registered) of course the condition and how long to recover ???

Hopefully they are found in reasonable shape .
good luck,
