The above shocks are exactly what I need for my front shocks...the only issue is , they are Eye to Eye, and my current stock setup is, Stem by Eye.

I need to fab a new mount to accept an Eye shock at the top ..can anyone on here help me out with this? is this an easy job?

I want to retain the stock location (height) , just change stem to Eye ...

I had it on my jeep. Can't remember who makes them. Talk to JTC that's where I got mine from

yeah they have Stem eliminators for the top but they add over an 1 1/4" to the lengths of your shocks...so I would then need around 14" collapsed and 25-26" extended..cant seem to find yet...

If I could modify the top mount , and keep stock mounting location , the shocks above would be perfect, they wont work if I use stem eliminators..too long of a shock again..

Just cut the top of the tower out and ad some shock tabs

thanks Owen... gonna take some pics tonight..

that would be great as I can then move up mount 2" , and keep my existing shocks (17.2 collapsed / 27.8 extended) and still achieve what I need!

Thought i would update this

Well finally got some shop time with a good buddy .. he was able to extend my towers by 2" in a hurry. Did a great job. Figured i am gonna ditch the stock shit next year so I didnt use F150 towers.. Works great now as i had 10" travel shocks from my old lift that now works perfect with the extra 2"..thats what she said oh yeah

Flexed er out max stuff with bumpstops setup perfect. Still with 3/4" of shock to go at full compression [36]

Took the heep to Stave late this afternoon after getting some other little things done... Ended the day short after coming off a over 3' log drop at the trail at the end of flats...about 20min later my rear slid out...the force of the drop, almost flopping, sheared the coil retainer clean off the rear bucket lol had to ratchet the coil in the bucket after struggling for half hr to get coil back in.. Fck me limped it home

Jeep performed great otherwise. Shocks were perfect, 4:1 and lower COG felt awesome...buti swear that drop was lower the last time I did it lmao

Should be like the first pic

Why does the shock look like its barely attached?

It was completely detached. Had to, to get the coil in. needed more droop ;)

That makes sense funny how it comes out but its such a PITA to get it back in

Yeah man. These ones especially Metalcloak dual rate extended coils...took alot of elbow grease. Time to beef those coil retainers up now
