View Full Version : Rolling My Grizzly 700 ATV

On Thursday, my brother Blake and I went quading up the KVR and on trails. On the way back to the campsite, I lost control of my 2013 Grizzly 700. I was going slow, but the right tire went over the “edge” and the ATV rolled down a steep embankment. As it went over I jumped off. The quad probably rolled over 2 or 3 times. I flew down about 8 feet and the Grizzly rolled about 20 to 25 feet down. Blake was driving behind me on the trail and saw me go over and stopped. He rushed down the hill. He said are you OK? He held up three fingers and said how many? I said three. Then I stood up and said “I am alive!” Blake helped me winch the Grizzly up the steep hill. We had to cut some trees with our handsaw. My brand new chainsaw was crushed when the Grizzly rolled over. We winched up the hill to three different trees and got the Grizzly up to the trail. The Grizzly motor was still running so Blake drove the Grizzly and I drove the Arctic Cat back to our campsite. Grandpa was quite shocked. Both metal racks were badly bent and some of the camouflage panels have shifted. We will start to fix the damage right away. I plan to buy new parts next week.

My buddy rolled my quad up around Larson Hill just off the KVR too.

Fix up the racks, and zap strap the panels. Battle scars are not all that bad.

Thanks everyone.

You right! More important me okay - quad can be fixed.

The quad has 8 pieces bent or broken. Steering column, handle bars are bent along with the carriers. Fixed next week when all the parts in.

The chainsaw on the Grizzly is toast - bye, bye! :D
