View Full Version : Honda 2000 generator not putting out 110V
08-07-2014, 11:36 AM
Was on the west coast with a freezer full of fish and the generator was running but just stopped producing 110V power. It made me pack up early and head for home which I wasnít too happy about.
Any who. I tested all the fuses and all checks out ok.
Any thoughts on what I could check for? Hoping itís not a control board or something like that.

Pull your brushes on the generator side...check the spring tension on them as well...maybe worn, other than that....the dreaded voltage control board/module
oh...and if you do replace the brushes...you may have to "excite" the genny to get it outputting again

it's the flux capacitor or the photon modulator
