View Full Version : Little Oops Hole

Found a "little" mud hole on a trail we where on. No pictures of the hole as it was too dark, but I was past the top of all 4 tires in mud. Had to spend about 20 minutes winching and finally the alternator packed it in, rad fan bit the dust and the engine inhaled ALOT of muddy water from this stupid cold air intake I decided to put on.

Should build a box around the filter, there is a snorkel from a land rover that follows the body of the bronco pretty good and comes through the fender exactly where the air cleaner is. Bronco boy has one on his bronco, haven't seen him on the forum in a while though.

you should get a pre filter to go over your intake filter it would prevent most water and mud from getting sucked in

or even use panty hoes as a prefilter

I think I am going to go back to the stock air-box. This filter idea was a waste of time.
