Not as nice or as powerful as most in its class but they are very reliable light and go anywhere. The old aircooled 400 was one of the best bikes ever made. So simpo it couldnt be beat. I like the foot shift. Wont leave ya stranded like the esc models have been known to.

At $8500 the Honda is way overpriced for what you get, solid rear axle, rear drum brake, NO power steering, rides like a pogo stick. On the plus side they're reliable.

And I wouldn't say they're light, 15lbs lighter then my Grizzly that has a bigger motor, no shifting CVT (which I have 10,000km on original belt :D ) and cushy suspension although it's not a high speed cornering machine ha ha!

I would look at a 450 Kodiak with power steering for $8000 over the Honda

Didnt realize the 500 was that heavy. Why they stopped making the 400 aircoed i dont know. We always killed in the trails with them. Only thing the bigger quads beat us with was fsr top speed.
