Hey all! Just bought an 08 GMC 2500HD with no cats. CEL is driving me nuts and heard about the non-foulers installed on 2nd O2 sensor... Has anyone done this before? Sounds like a cheap fix for an annoying light, plan on getting the cats replaced some time in the near future tho...... But in the mean time, I would like to say goodbye to my CEL go fuck yourself

Any thoughts on these??

they sell dummy sensors or get the ecm reprogrammed. Both options would be cheaper then new cats. But your fuel economy might suffer.

Dummy sensors are hard to find. You may have to run 2 foulers for each rear sensor. Good thing is rears are usually easy to access

I'd get the ECM programmed as Burge said, you can really wake these engines up with a good tune, and I'm not talkin about those plug in programmers, they don't do anything. I'm really wanting to get my 5.3 tuned...
