I got my square nuts for my m8000 from Alder auto. went to inquire and they had some sitting on the counter they brought in for someone who didnt end up wanting them, it was way to easy.

Well meh fuck lordco dumb cocksuckers don't know shit. Anyway installed winch with grade 8 3/8 hardware with hex head nuts I had lying around. Just stuck a screwdriver in so they'd tighten.

I may have to go to lordco again and get the rebuild kit for my winch it sounds old and not very greased lol

all warns sound old and not greased. it's like the crusty old guy at work that runs circles around everyone else with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and booze on his breath. it refuses to die

Well I took er all apart and cleaned/greased the works. Motor looks in good shape. Freespools nice now. I have square nuts and a clutch lever on order through B&J should be bolted on and ready to rock tomorrow.

My current clutch lever is pretty bent tried straightening but meh. I think it had a bad encounter with a hammer one drunken time. New one is $40
