So I sold the old ford and picked up a 1967 international travellet it's a crew cab short box.
The plan
I have a cummins that was going in to the ford so the plan was to just swap it in and go but after much planning and mesuring it would seem the easiest watt to actually get this done would be to just throw it on a dodge frame. So back to Craig's list I went I finally found a 2005 dodge 3500 minus the drive train. Measured measured and measured again and it'll be tight but its going to fit and the wheelbase is spot on

Looks like I might need the floor and fire wall from the dodge but that's nothing major

Starting the tear down on bolth trucks this week

I think that is a little larger than the factory one in my 2500 and I only have the one cooler in the front I pulled out the factory coolant heat exchanger one a while ago, it was lookin a little iffy :dontknow: . Have not had any trans heat issues (I have a good guage in it). I would just run with that B&M one and see how it does. Just a good converter will do a world of wonder for that 48RE.
