So i've started a new build if anyones interested in seeing what i'm up to now..

Project plans
-5.3 LS,turbo 400, atlas transfer case.
-1-ton 06 f350 super-duty axles full hydro steering
- 4 link front and rear with 16" coilovers and air bumps
-currie anti-rock sway bar kits
-46" baja claw tires on 20'' double bead locks (maybe some 42's for summer)

So at this point im still collecting parts.. here's what i have and where im at, The rear 4-link setup that was pre-existing should work fine...and a few more items and ill start mocking up the links/suspension and motor/trans placement.

5.3 LS. all going well i'd like to do a trick flow top end kit, some flat tops and a fast or other similar port injection manifold style fuel system

Not that common yet, but with 45' steering and factory 35 spline inner an outers plus big factory disc brakes... They're pretty cool, I'm utilizing the matching rear sterling with disc brakes for the convenience.. Plus it's still 10.25

Well i managed to get out in the shop for a day, its been weeks since i've had a chance... But hanging out with my baby boy has been top of the list..

Managed to start the interior cage, its tricky keeping enough room as well as the clearance around everything to slide the cab off cleanly..

Still waiting on my wheels that are weeks and weeks late, ( stazworks 20's ) i'm told they will ship out this morning.http://www.crawlinbc.com/forum/images/smilies/shakehead.gif but using the tires as reference and some head scratching and tape measuring i sucked everything in to 121 WB with the front and rear measured out to use the same length links.. (yay for less spare parts to carry). tacked all the rear links and cage in place and unfortunately ran out of time.. here's to next weekendhttp://www.crawlinbc.com/forum/images/smilies/drinker.gif

Lowers links sit level at ride height with 7" of up travel , seems to flex around fine but i might have to bring the uppers up an inch more at the chassis.. will see later.. im happy with the stance of it, with the 46's and 7'' of up travel i end up with 20'' belly clearance... she sits low low

hoping for wheels this week and to get the front links tacked up at least for the weekend.

working on a few little things, been pretty tied up for that last few months.. no real weekends to go hard at er. after some messing around and changing mounts front driveline has plenty of room to fit now..

started to flex things around a bit, bumps and pads are tacked in.. going to start placing front shocks this weekend.. i had to trim back the firewall/A-pillar seam and re-weld so i could tuck the front as much as i wanted, without moving the axle forward..

well i wanted it to have a flat surface so i would have had to build it up off the truss a bit anyways.. and i wanted the bump stops as high up on the frame rail as possible so i can gusset up the back.... just ended up working out that way... and yes i need my time out in the shop lol
