Grandpa, my brother and I went fishing at a resort last week. We found and old 15 foot Alumacraft Bass Boat for sale cheap! Real cheap! It was not being used anymore. So I decided to buy and we picked it up on Wednesday. Now we are going start re-building a better fishing boat. More room for all three of us. We are getting ready to strip the paint from the boat this weekend. Later we will add seats, maybe some lights, and other accessories. Want to have it ready for spring lake fishing.

I finished stripping the blue paint off the Bass Boat today. Lots of hard work. We turned it over today and I will start working on the inside tomorrow. Will start thinking about accessories at the same time.

Yes, more polishing on the outer hull,

In the Spring time, I plan to maybe paint the inside.

I finished stripping the blue paint inside the boat. Probably will wait for spring if I paint the boat. I want to change the wood transom as it is rotten in places. But there are a lot of rivets through the boat and transom. See pictures. No rivets on the boat leak anywhere. They are all in good condition. Any ideas about taking off the old wood and either putting in new rivets, which may be hard or fixing or replacing the wood.
