as soon as i saw this i scoured craigslist and then googled lift kits for carts...

looks fun.

I love that it’s not normal. I hope you two guys never sell out and get a quad

05-27-2013, 02:43 PM
I have a quad, i just NEVER use it. The golf cart makes everything so much more funnered, plus it has 4 cup holders. [cheers]

The air ride smoothed out all the back jarring the stock shocks were dishing out.
2.5" of travel upgraded to almost a foot.

The front shocks that came with our lift kit originally had seen better days,
we beat them to pieces.

Air ride was the only solution,My RIP blue Lincolns compressor/drier, a nice air tank and 8 way air assist solenoid
We be hittin switches and popping ditches bitches
Eagle round 2 comming up soon as the snow melts.

epic - very imposing or impressive; surpassing the ordinary (especially in size or scale)

That thing is sweet nice work. Looks like so much fun, I wouldn't ride my quad either if I had that thing. needs a couple ten inch woofers, and beer fridge.

Very cool [cheers]

I remember when we were fighting our trucks up the grotto T.P. trail and out of nowhere that golfcart pulls up right behind us and followed the rest of the way :D

That's lookin sick Paul, Nice job.
Thanks, it was a lot of research and planning. Plus lots of down time to get it all worked out. With nobody else really doing this to a Yamaha G16 before it was all guess and test.

Our next mod will be lower gears, and maybe a camshaft once the engine is broken in. A locker instead of posi might be on the list as well.

I'm trying to find a small air compressor 1hp or less to modify and add a clutch to belt drive off the engine.
I dont like the electric lincoln continental compressor rattling away.

I think an old set of golf clubs should be mandatory when wheeling that thing. Not to mention you could shwack a few balls during the beer breaks.
here some clothing options........
