Had no idea how complicated this was going to be for a novice like myself Arrrg soo lost tryn to figure out how this thing goes ttogether.

When I bought it I knew it would need alot of parts and work but had no idea what a pain and how many parts it would need.

Not including the king pins I think I have what I need to assemble the hubs spindles lock outs and brakes.

But have a few questions

The 1st one is

Can anyone come to brunette and hwy1 and show me how to assemble this thing lol lol

2nd

I noticed when cleaning the hubs that one of the hubs races I think u call em has a slightly rougher feel than the other

Is this a concern or can I just polish it up

always new wheel bearing and races. buy the D60 rebuild kit while you have it down this far. that being done you will get at at least 10 years service out of your dif.

dont forget your torrington bearings or buy the nylon insert from BCC

dont find bearings for the races. replace the races when you purchase the new bearings (usually the races will come with the bearings). The bearings are specifically set for that one race. If you mix and match you WILL have issues. Full rebuild kits from Yukon, etc are the best way to go imho, much cheaper in the long run then piecing it together.

Pound out the old races and replace with new cost me $400 for bearings and races, seals, studs and rotors. U will need a driver kit too drive the races in and the grease seal. Get some emery cloth too and clean the surface closest to the flange on the spindle

So um bfh and flat screwdriver to remove old race?

use a steel punch to remove them, and a brass one to put them back in.

if you slip with a steel punch putting them in, you could fuck the race.

i don't use brass, but i've done it hundreds of times.

I think your new at this, so go get a brass punch[cheers]
